Get To Know Me
Thank you for visiting my online portfolio. I am a high school senior ready to explore the world of opportunities I have to make a change for our planet. I am mostly soft-spoken but when it comes to climate change and saving our earth I become a different person.
When I am not busy with school work or running my active Climate Change Club I love to read, garden, and paint. I think one day I will combine all of the things I love and build a career. I love working with my peers and teachers and in the community.
One of my favorite projects to date was going to the city and helping the Habitat For Humanity and build a house for a family in need. One thing is certain for my future, I will always volunteer to help others because I believe that is how we can make the best most positive change to the earth.

I have been inspired by the work of young activists like Leah Namugerwa, Jackson Hinkle and Gret Thunberg. Helping the planet doesn't have to be big and loud it may start with planting a tree or it could be by making changes in local schools like my climate change club. Soon these small actions grow into community meetings and change, which can lead to city-wide, state and even regional changes. Before long, your voice could be heard by national and international leaders. But, even if you don’t care to gain national attention, the small changes you make can add up over time. If everyone becomes an environmental activist in their area, the changes will quickly move across the globe.
My goal is to be more proactive as an environmental change agent, a degree in conservation or environmental science can help me do this. Unity College offers several programs that can provide me with the right foundation. I plan to pursue a B.S. in Environmental Science as it will lay the foundation for a career in sustainability and community environmental planning. It also provides a strong focus on using the sciences to find solutions to environmental problems. I plan to focus on the social and economic factors that play a role in environmental issues. I am so excited for my future in college and to learn more about how I can help.

My Visit To Unity College
My parents and I took a trip to Unity College last year and it was amazing. Unity is a liberal arts college with an important mission: to be the best environmental college in the world. Amazing to see how the college itself lives their commitment to sustainability in everything they do. From recycling everything to also composting and having a functional garden just like at my school, only bigger! I enjoyed the tour and exploring all the different careers I could choose from and the different majors I could degree in. After my trip, I became interested in learning more about Environmental Education and Climate Change. I can see myself here and I hope to make it my home. I could not have done this without the support of my parents, teachers, and coach. I am very grateful for the opportunity of possibly attending this college.
